Client Strategy Director

We are looking for someone who helps clients feel as cared for as the Queen on her Jubilee, who is the Ghostbusters to any client problem, and who is able to motivate a team to join them on the journey. You will share our passion for client excellence, always doing the right thing for our clients. You will work hand in glove with both our CSO and COO to deliver against our vision: to create the performance brands of tomorrow.

The role

What you will do

  • Support all client leads in delivering exceptional client experiences
  • Help client teams celebrate success, as well as solve or escalate client challenges where necessary
  • Ensure we have the right people across accounts to deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Make recommendations on internal team alignment and cultural fit for our top client tiers
  • Ensure we have the right briefing templates across clients and that these are populated accordingly
  • Work closely with our teams and client leads to ensure a deep understanding of our USPs
  • Ensure the soft skills required to deliver exceptional client experiences are developed through bespoke and third-party training programmes, appropriate job descriptions and values-aligned hiring for client leads
  • Help our COO monitor client health and ensure client leads deliver against processes set up in conjunction with the COO and the change management team
  • Help ensure the right client sector knowledge exists across the client leads
  • Take the lead across clients to ensure objectives are delivered against with the right strategy
  • Lead by example and ensure exceptional client satisfaction, retention and growth
  • Help orchestrate larger inbound pitches and deliver a strategic response to prospects’ objectives
  • Ensure client delivery aligns to our values of openness, togetherness and decisiveness
  • Use your expertise to support our team in delivering the right services across our clients to achieve their objectives

Requirements

  • You have a proven record of delivering exceptional client experiences within a relevant sector
  • You have a proven record of ensuring agency teams are strategically aligned to deliver client objectives - with the right people, processes, tools and behaviours to deliver against those objectives
  • You have strong commercial awareness and a proven record of delivering commercially successful client engagements
  • You have the ability and desire to lead and manage large, cross-functional teams
  • You have a record of building and maintaining strong internal working relationships across multiple departments
  • You have the ability and desire to quickly learn the benefit of new and varied services
  • You have strong research and analytical skills with a real attention to detail

Salary

  • £50,000 - £90,000 in Leeds or Manchester
  • £60,000 - £100,000 in London
