Business Development Executive

We’re looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to connect us with the world’s leading brands.

The role

What you will do

  • Engage senior stakeholders through email, social and telephone to arrange new business meetings
  • Build relationships with members of the Journey Further Book Club community
  • Manage the pre- and post-event comms and support in the delivery of our events
  • Support the sales team in producing presentations, case studies and social content
  • Own the CRM system, ensuring contacts and deals are up-to-date and correctly segmented
  • Daily analysis and regular reporting to optimise activity, spot opportunities and ensure KPIs are hit


  • You're incredibly ambitious and looking to grow a career in business development
  • You have experience building relationships with senior stakeholders across a number of industries
  • You're highly organised, staying on top of multiple lead sources to identify valuable opportunities
  • You're a clear communicator and team player who will integrate across the sales and marketing teams
  • You have impeccable attention to detail, from email copy to CRM data
